Jaguars receiver Allen Hurns remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol and will not practice later today.
Hurns was injured late in Sunday’s loss to the San Diego Chargers when he hit his head on the turf. He left the field on a stretcher and was taken to the hospital for head and neck exams, which showed no damage. He was released from the hospital Sunday night.
Hurns was in the Jaguars’ locker room Monday afternoon, but is prohibited from speaking to the media until he is cleared.
Hurns, whose 48 catches, 758 receiving yards and seven touchdowns all rank second on the Jaguars behind Allen Robinson, has not missed an NFL game since entering the league last year.
