According to Howard Balzer, the Jacksonville Jaguars worked out free agent tight ends Gavin Escobar and Colin Jeter in recent days.
Escobar, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4.21 million rookie contract with the Cowboys and was testing the open market for the first time in his career when he signed a one-year. $885,000 contract that included $80,000 guaranteed with the Chiefs last offseason.
Unfortunately, Kansas City elected to Escobar loose coming out of the preseason. Escobar had a brief stint with the Ravens last year.
