According to Howard Balzer, the Jacksonville Jaguars worked out two players on Friday including G Brandon Thomas and DT Josh Augusta.
Thomas, 26, is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2014. He spent just over two years in San Francisco before he was traded to the Lions in return for WR Jeremy Kerley.
However, Detroit elected to cut him loose less than a week later and sign him to their practice squad. Thomas returned to the Lions on a future/reserve contract this past January but was, unfortunately, among their final roster cuts.
