The Jacksonville Jaguars will be signing free agent quarterback Nick Foles on Wednesday when the official opening of 2019 NFL free agency. The terms of that deal are reportedly a 4-year deal worth $88 million that can grow to $102 million with just over $50 million guaranteed. The actual numbers for Foles seemed to be a big surprise, especially considering the Jaguars were the only real suitors for Foles.
So if the Jaguars were the only real destination, why did they pay so much?
Respect, apparently?
Why did the #Jaguars pay so much for Nick Foles if there were no other big bidders?
