To no one’s surprise, the Jacksonville Jaguars made losing a game so much worse than it needed to be once again.
The Jaguars (2-10) fell to the visiting Houston Texans, 23-20, to complete the season sweep of the Jags by the Texans. The three-point margin might as well have been 30 points in actuality but the biggest storyline comes not from the final score but the health of quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
In a game he simply didn’t need to play in— yet did to stand with his other banged-up teammates— Lawrence took a gruesome shot to the head and suffered his second diagnosed concussion of his NFL career.
