To open the season, the Jacksonville Jaguars went down to Miami, held the former No. 1 offense in the league to 20 points, and had a 17-7 lead at halftime.
The Jaguars lost the game 20-17.
This game was a microcosm of the most recent season, a three-hour display of hope and promise that goes belly up in the end. Plenty of players and coaches had fine days, but yet again the Jaguars and their fans are left with their hands in the air wondering how they got there.
