Jaguars TV ratings for the New England game were highest in the last two years

The Jaguars game at New England last year got the team’s highest TVs ratings in the last two years.

Despite the 51-17 loss to the Patriots, the game had a 26.1 rating (percentage of TV sets tuned into the game), a 42 share (percentage of TV set turned on that viewed the game) and was viewed in 173,000 households.

The Jaguars-Miami game was viewed in 164,000 households, the same number that watched the Jaguars lose their opener to the Carolina Panthers. Both games were higher than any of their ratings last year.

The ratings for the second game against Miami were identical to the rating for the first game -- 24.
