Four draft picks from general manager Dave Caldwell’s regime were among the first wave of cuts by the Jaguars on Friday.
The Jaguars cut 18 players, and their roster stands at 57 players. They must be at 53 by 4 p.m. Saturday.
The four draftees were all seventh-round selections: cornerback Jeremy Harris (2013), running back Storm Johnson (2014), tight end Ben Koyack (2015) and receiver Neal Sterling (2015).
Also cut were defensive linemen Richard Ash, Camaron Beard, Ike Igbinosun and Cap Capi, receivers Kasey Closs, Erik Lore and Tony Washington, guards Will Corbin and Chris Reed, cornerbacks Peyton Thompson and Rashaad Reynolds, linebacker Todd Thomas, quarterback Stephen Morris and tight end Connor Hamlett.
