Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey and UCLA outside linebacker Myles Jack — together.
Such a combo was seemingly impossible on Thursday morning.
However, that became the Jaguars beautiful reality by Friday night.
A day after selecting arguably the draft’s top defensive player in Ramsey with the fifth-overall pick, the Jaguars moved up to secure another player generating best-defender-in-the-draft buzz in Jack.
General manager Dave Caldwell selected Jack with the 36th-overall pick.
The Jaguars moved up two spots to secure Jack, giving Baltimore their second-round choice and fifth-round selection (No. 146).
Caldwell continued to fortify the defense in the third round, selecting Maryland defensive end Yannick Ngakoue in the third round with the 69th-overall pick.
