The Jaguars extended tenders to three restricted free agents today: Defensive end Ryan Davis, defensive tackle Abry Jones and tight end Nic Jacobs.
A league source said Davis and Jones were given second-round tenders; another team would have to surrender its second-round pick to sign them away from the Jaguars. The NFL hasn’t announced the amount of the tenders, but a second-round tender is expected to be around $2.5 million.
Jacobs was the Jaguars’ only exclusive rights free agent.
The three players would have become unrestricted free agents had the Jaguars not tendered them by next week.
