The Jaguars added another returner to the mix Friday by signing Greg Jenkins, taking the roster spot created by Ace Sanders’ release last week.
Jenkins, 25, has six games of NFL experience, all with Oakland two years ago. He returned 10 kickoffs for a 22.1-yard average and six punts for an 8.2-yard average.
Jenkins joins a group that includes Tandon Doss, Bryan Walters and Rashad Greene (punts) and Denard Robinson and Storm Johnson (kickoffs) that will compete during the preseason. Winning a return job is likely the only way Jenkins, Doss, Walters and Johnson will make the team.
