Jaguars sign seventh round pick Ben Koyack

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville Jaguars have put pen to paper on another rookie deal.

The team signed Notre Dame tight end and seventh round pick Ben Koyack to a four-year contract.

Koyack is the first tight end drafted by the team since 2009 but was the Jaguars last pick in this year's draft.

The rookie collected 44 receptions for 532 receiving yards and five touchdowns during his college career at Notre Dame.

He is set to compete with veterans Clay Harbor, Nic Jacobs and fellow rookie Connor Hamlett for a backup job behind Julius Thomas and Marcedes Lewis.
