JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed another rookie draft pick to a contract.
The team signed running back T.J. Yeldon to a four-year contract on Wednesday.
Yeldon was the Jaguars second round pick and was taken 36th overall in this year's NFL Draft.
He played three seasons at Alabama prior to entering the NFL. He rushed for 3,322 yards and 37 rushing touchdowns in college. Yeldon also won a BCS National Championship while playing at Alabama.
A 6-foot-1, 226-pound ball carrier, Yeldon is expected to be the starting running back for the Jaguars this season.
