Jaguars sign rookie WR Jalen Camp, waive third-year RB Ryquell Armstead

Today, the Jaguars announced that it has signed the first of its nine drafted players from the 2021 NFL Draft, signing rookie wide receiver Jalen Camp. The team also announced that it has waived third-year running back Ryquell Armstead.

Camp, selected in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, played his collegiate career at Georgia Tech. He would go on to play in 49 games with the Yellow Jackets, catching 48 passes for 808 yards and five touchdowns.

Last season, Camp hauled in 27 receptions for 417 yards and four touchdowns as the Yellow Jackets transitioned to a pro-style offense.
