The Jaguars are signing former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Damien Wilson, the team announced today.
The free-agent linebacker visited the Jaguars earlier this week, and it appears he will be there for at least the immediate future.
Wilson, 27, becomes the 13th free-agent signing the team has made thus far this offseason. Wilson has spent the past two seasons with the Chiefs, starting 29 games. He accounted for 98 solo tackles, six tackles-for-loss, two forced fumbles and four quarterback hits over that span.
Currently, the Jaguars are slated to start linebackers Joe Schobert and Myles Jack in the middle of defensive coordinator Joe Cullen’s defense.
