The Jaguars announced the signing of five players on Monday, following last week's rookie mini-camp.
Former Bolles standout free safety Desmond Cooper is among the group. Cooper finished his career at UNC-Charlotte after transferring from Wake Forest. The 6-foot-2, 214-pound Cooper ran a reported 4.48 time in the 40-yard dash at his pro day.
Joining Cooper are defensive tackle Richard Ash, defensive end Cap Capi, receiver Kasey Closs and offensive lineman Jack Rummells.
To make room on the 90-man roster, the Jaguars waived tight end Marcel Jensen, receiver Tommy Streeter, safety Jeremy Deering and kicker Derek Dimke.
