The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed wide receiver Allen Hurns to a 4-year, $40 million contract extension according to a report by Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com. The deal for Hurns shouldn't come as much of a surprise, as an extension for him has been talked about all offseason by fans and even general manager Dave Caldwell. The new big money deal for the former undrafted free agent comes well deserved after his performance in just two years in the NFL.
As mentioned, the actual new deal for Hurns isn't unexpected, but the total amount of the contract is a little bit surprising.
