The Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the New Orleans Saints in Thursday’s preseason opener by a score of I can’t remember to it doesn’t matter in the slightest. It was everyone’s first look at the 2018 Jaguars and what we saw should not sway anyone’s expectation for another successful season to build off the surprising 2017.
Just about everything you wanted to see from the Jaguars in the first preseason game, you got to see. There wasn’t really anything glaringly bad beyond Tanner Lee, even with a few key players not dressing because they either didn’t need to play or had a slight ding and wasn’t working risking further injury by playing.
