Tickets for the first Jacksonville Jaguars home playoff game since 1999 went on sale Wednesday afternoon to the general public and within about a half hour, they were sold out. Season ticket holders were granted early access to buy additional seats, but once it went on sale to the general public, the available allotment of tickets flew off the proverbial shelves.
“The response from Jaguars fans has been nothing short of outstanding,” said Chad Johnson, Jaguars senior vice president of sales and service, said in a team press release. “Momentum from the end of the season home games has been building, and the atmosphere at our first playoff game in nearly two decades will undoubtedly continue to be electric.
