JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- With the loss of rookie James Sample to a broken arm, most would expect the Jacksonville Jaguars safety unit to be in peril. That said, while Sample is rehabbing the injury, his teammates are excelling on the practice field.
Veterans Johnathan Cyprien and Sergio Brown have formed quite the tandem during practice.
Cyprien is entering his third season in the Jaguars defense, while Brown was a free agent signing who has experience on successful squads.
Brown has been pegged as a special teams player for most of his career, but Cyprien considers his experience invaluable.
