Jaguars rookie defensive end Dante Fowler made a stroll through the locker room today, the first time he’s been spotted by the media since having left knee surgery May 27.
Fowler, who tore his left anterior cruciate ligament May 8 and was ruled out for the season a day later, had a large brace on the knee and was using crutches as he was greeted by several teammates.
Fowler was drafted third overall by the Jaguars April 30 but then sustained the non-contact injury during the opening hour of the opening rookie mini-camp practice.
“I’ve already started the rehab and taking everything day by day,” said Fowler, who had surgery in Pensacola.
