The Jaguars and teams across the NFL have officially released their upcoming schedule for the 2021 NFL regular season, along with its slate of preseason games. The new schedule will feature an extra game, making the total regular-season games at 17, as per the league’s new collective bargaining agreement.
Last season, the league’s schedule release was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and this year was no different, releasing nearly a week after it was just last year.
Another change that was made in the new CBA was the league’s preseason games. All 32 teams will now play just three preseason games as opposed to four.
