The Jacksonville Jaguars have requested permission to interview Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith for their vacant head coaching position, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
All six teams with HC openings - Chargers, Jets, Jaguars, Lions, Falcons, Texans - have either requested permission to interview Titans’ OC Arthur Smith or plan to ask permission, per sources.

Many expected Smith to be one of the hotter names on the head coaching market this offseason, in large part because of the consistency of the Titans offense and the resurrection of the career of quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
