The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially released veteran LT Branden Albert on Friday, according to Ian Rapoport.
The Jaguars placed Albert on the reserve/retired list earlier in the week after he surprisingly decided to come out of retirement.
However, it was clear that he wasn’t going to return to the Jaguars after skipped all of the offseason program and then retired a few days into training camp.
It will be interesting to see if Albert is intersted in continuing his NFL career or if he unretired in order to not have to pay back $3.
