The Jaguars decided to let receiver Cecil Shorts walk in free agency.
He's now with the Houston Texans.
Still, as the veteran of a receiving corps that featured three rookies last season, Shorts' departure has been felt by his teammates.
Shorts endured a disappointing 2013 and 2014 season, finishing last year with 53 catches for 557 yards and a touchdown.
Now, the three rookies from last season -- Allen Robinson, Marqise Lee and Allen Hurns -- are the leaders at the position entering their second season.
Lee reflected on what losing Shorts meant to the group on Wednesday at EverBank Field.
