Following 27-25 Sunday’s loss against the Cleveland Browns, the Jaguars received good news for injured rookie defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton, who was carted off the field during the contest with an apparent knee injury.
Immediately following the game, Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone stated that the injury, “didn’t look good,” however on Monday, Marrone indicated the franchise received good news on him, stating that the injury wasn’t as bad as they originally suspected.
“We got good news with [DT DaVon] Hamilton last night,” said Marrone. “It’s not as bad as we thought. We think he’ll still go on IR but it’s definitely not anything that’s quite long term, which was the concern last night, so that’s a good thing.
