The Jacksonville Jaguars officially re-signed exclusive rights free agent DB Peyton Thompson on Monday.
Thompson, 26, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of San Jose State back in 2012. He lasted just over a year in Atlanta before brief stints with the Redskins and Bears.
The Jaguars signed Thompson to their practice squad during the 2014 season and he’s been on and off of their active roster ever since.
In 2016, Thompson appeared in 15 games for the Jaguars and recorded 14 tackles and no interceptions.
