The Jaguars are preparing for the possibility that rookie running back T.J. Yeldon won’t be able to play Sunday against Atlanta at EverBank Field.
Yeldon injured his knee in Sunday’s 51-16 rout over Indianapolis. On Tuesday, the Jaguars signed running back Jonas Gray off Miami’s practice squad.
Yeldon has 1,019 yards of offense this season, rushing for 740 yards. He has scored three touchdowns.
Denard Robinson would start for the Jaguars if Yeldon is inactive, with Joe Banyard and Gray serving as his backups.
Banyard was signed to the Jaguars practice squad on Oct. 14 and promoted to the active roster on Oct.
