The Jaguars have placed running back Storm Johnson on the active/non-football illness list. Johnson is eligible to practice as soon as he passes a physical.
The Jaguars aren’t required to reveal the nature of the injury, but it has to be an issue that arose during non-team activities.
Johnson missed a stretch of organized team activities because of a back injury. When healthy, he will compete to be a kick returner and a reserve tailback.
On Tuesday, the Jaguars put defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks (knee) and free safety James Sample (forearm) on the physically unable to perform list and defensive lineman Cap Capi on the non-football injury list.
