Jaguars defensive tackle Malik Jackson was ready to get back to practice Wednesday.
He wanted to see just how well the team would respond from a frustrating loss to Green Bay.
“We'll see, but I think only time will tell,” Jackson said. “Personally, I don’t think there's any issue with that. We’ve moved on and nobody is saying it’s OK we lost because it was to Green Bay. We lost. That's unacceptable, so now we need to go out there and turn the page and get after it. That needs to be everybody's mindset.”
On Monday, coach Gus Bradley acknowledged the team was “having a hard time with this one right now in the locker room” after missing an opportunity to knock off a playoff team from a year ago in the first week of the season, but players said Wednesday they were confident they had put the loss behind them.
