On Wednesday afternoon, NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the Jacksonville Jaguars are planning to release veteran wide receiver Christian Kirk. Per Schefter, the move will save the Jaguars $10.4 million in cap space just ahead of next week’s start to free agency.

The move comes three years into the four-year, $72 million deal Kirk signed with the Jaguars in 2022.
