JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- The Jacksonville Jaguars made a move at wide receiver on Tuesday.
The team placed rookie wide receiver Rashad Greene on injured reserve - designated to return with a thumb injury. Greene underwent successful surgery on the digit on Tuesday morning. He will be eligible to return to practice on Nov. 3.
Greene, Florida State's all-time leading receiver, caught seven passes for 28 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars first two games.
The team re-signed wide receiver Bryan Walters in a corresponding move. Walters was waived last week to make room for cornerback Peyton Thompson.
