The Jaguars have placed wide receiver Jamal Agnew on injured reserve after he sustained a hip injury at the start of the fourth quarter of the team’s 30-10 loss against the San Francisco 49ers.
He is done for the year, and will not be returning from the team’s reserve/injured list this season. He originally signed with the Jaguars this offseason on a three-year deal worth $14,250,000. The deal included $4M guaranteed.
Agnew became one of the team’s starting receivers after DJ Chark Jr. was lost for the season due to an ankle fracture.
