The Jacksonville Jaguars traded for veteran running back Carlos Hyde on Friday and to make room on the roster for the back the team placed rookie offensive lineman Will Richardson on injured reserve. Richardson had yet to play this season due to dealing with a lingering knee injury and the team has decided to go ahead and just shut him down for the year.
Some fans thought that the move for Hyde spelled doom for injured running back Leonard Fournette for the season, but at this point it’s a bit late to put him on IR and you’re better off just seeing where he’s at after the bye week.
