Jaguars place four rookies on team’s reserve/COVID-19 list

The Jaguars announced today that they have placed four rookies on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list, including defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton, cornerbacks Josiah Scott and Luq Barcoo and offensive lineman Tre’Vour Wallace-Simms. Rookie fullback Connor Slomka was placed on the team’s active/non-football injury list.

The Reserve/COVID-19 list is a new reserve category created by the NFL for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Hamilton and Scott were selected in rounds three and four of the 2020 NFL Draft, respectively, while Barcoo, Wallace-Simms and Slomka were signed immediately following the draft in undrafted free agency.
