With the Jaguars veterans reporting for physicals this morning, the team has placed both tight end James O’Shaughnessy and nickel defensive back DJ Hayden on the team’s active/PUP list.
Players are permitted to move off of the active/PUP list to the active roster at any time prior to the start of the regular season. Since the Jaguars have yet to practice, Hayden and O’Shaughnessy will presumably not miss any time during the season if they are removed prior to week one.
O’Shaughnessy has spent the past three seasons with the Jaguars and was the team’s leading tight end in 2019 even while missing the majority of the season with a torn ACL.
