As Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon was equal parts dashing and plowing his way to a season-high 115 yards rushing in Sunday’s 34-31 win over Buffalo, his performance was considered impressive because he was returning from a groin injury.
After the game, it became even better.
Yeldon was sick Saturday and Sunday, requiring two intravenous bags.
“I don’t know if it was food poisoning or a stomach bug that’s going around, but I was throwing up since I woke up [Saturday],” Yeldon said. “I couldn’t eat or drink.
“I didn’t think I was going to play.
