There could be three rookies getting reps with the first-team in Sunday’s third preseason game against visiting Cincinnati.
First-round cornerback Jalen Ramsey is a lock.
Jaguars coach Gus Bradley mentioned earlier this week that second-round middle linebacker Myles Jack would relieve Paul Posluszny early enough to get work with the starters.
Now, it appears third-round defensive end Yannick Ngakoue can be added to the list. He could be in line for a 50-50 split with Dante Fowler against the Bengals.
Bradley said after Friday’s practice that Ngakoue would “definitely” get time with the first-team in base defense.
