EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. | Jaguars rookie cornerback Jalen Ramsey’s debut will wait another week after he was held out of Thursday night’s preseason game against the New York Jets.
If the Jaguars were playing a regular season game, Ramsey would have likely been in uniform.
Ramsey, the fifth overall pick in April’s draft, had knee surgery May 24, but has not missed a practice in training camp.
“He’s had a really good, solid camp, not only as an outside corner but our nickel guy,” general manager Dave Caldwell told the Times-Union. “He’s very natural inside.
