White House visit for Jackson next week
Defensive tackle Malik Jackson will miss the Jaguars’ organized team activity workout Monday, but he has a good excuse: He’ll be visiting the White House with the rest of the Denver Broncos’ Super Bowl-winning team.
“It’s going to be really fun; I’m excited,” Jackson said Thursday. “This is my last Bronco act. I’ll say, ‘What’s up?’ to the guys and then get back here with these guys and get working.”
Jackson was drafted by the Broncos in 2012 and signed with the Jaguars in mid-March. He said the Broncos have invited him to Denver for an event to present the championship rings, but will likely decline.
