Hand surgeon: Return of Jaguars’ pair realistic
Tight end Julius Thomas and strong safety Johnathan Cyprien wore balky casts over their right hands while watching practice Monday morning, three days after they were injured against Pittsburgh and ruled out for the preseason.
The Jaguars are confident Thomas, who sustained a broken bone on the top of his hand, and Cyprien, who broke his index finger, will be available Sept. 13 against Carolina and physician Steven Shin, Director of Hand Surgery at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, said that’s a realistic goal.
