Per a report Monday by ESPN, former Jaguars receiver Ace Sanders has been suspended 10 games by the NFL for another substance abuse violation.
Sanders was suspended the first four games of 2014 and was released by the Jaguars on July 17. It’s easy to now connect the dots as to why he was waived.
Coach Gus Bradley, citing league rules, wouldn’t comment on the suspension, but said of Sanders: “We had to make a decision more with our head than our heart. Ace was important and did some good things for us. We wish him the best.
