The Jaguars envision linebacker Dan Skuta as a Swiss Army knife-type player and in last week’s preseason opener against Pittsburgh, there was a glimpse of what they’re talking about.
Skuta crammed a lot of things into his 13 snaps of work.
He played seven snaps “on-the-ball” (at the line scrimmage) and six “off-the-ball.”
He was an outside linebacker for 12 snaps and a defensive end for one play.
He was a pass rusher on two snaps and also played man coverage against a tight end and running back and zone coverage in the flat.
