Could a move by the Philadelphia Eagles involved quarterback Nick Foles eventually lead to a trade involving the Jacksonville Jaguars?
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, “The Eagles are expected to use their franchise tag this offseason on quarterback Nick Foles in an effort to then try to trade him, according to sources on other NFL teams who have been in touch with Philadelphia.”
The idea is for the Eagles to try an trade the back-up turned starter for a third-round draft pick. The Jaguars have to picks in the third round – their own and the one they obtained from the Los Angeles Rams in the deal that sent Dante Fowler out west at the NFL trade deadline.
