JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Second-year defender Telvin Smith seemingly proved as a rookie that he was capable of playing linebacker at a high level in the NFL despite draft pundits pegging him as an oversized safety.
However, Smith believes he still has a long way to go before he changes doubters' minds.
"For the most part, I've always said, people will question you no matter the situation," said Smith.
"As soon as you do something wrong, they say 'He's this…' So I feel like I haven't proved anything yet. I maybe hushed up people for now, but I have to keep playing and proving myself each year.
