Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue is one of the key pieces in turning around the defense’s pass-rush woes.
Ngakoue (IN-gah-kway) was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft after recording a school-record 13 ½ sacks at Maryland last season as a true junior. The 21-year-old Ngakoue is expected to provide a pass-rush spark behind Dante Fowler at the weak-side (Leo) spot.
“We are counting on Yannick to come in and produce,” Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell said. “He is going to be on the field.
