New York Jets receiver Jalin Marshall came across the middle and Myles Jack was ready.
The Jaguars rookie middle linebacker put an impressive hit on Marshall to force an incomplete pass on third down. The big hit highlighted Jack’s first NFL experience in a 17-13 loss to the Jets in the preseason opener Thursday at MetLife Stadium.
Marshall lined up in the slot and cornerback Aaron Colvin was behind him as he ran across the field. Jets quarterback Geno Smith threw accurately to Marshall, who was knocked 4 yards backwards by the 6-foot-1, 247-pound Jack as the ball arrived.
