BOCA RATON | A primary topic of discussion this week for the Jaguars was their pass rush … or lack thereof.
The general manager wasn’t concerned.
“If the season started tomorrow, we would have three pass rushers we didn’t have last year,” Dave Caldwell said.
The coach, though, sounded like reinforcements are required.
“We’ve got some time,” Gus Bradley said. “There will be players in the draft we’ll look at and teams in June [will cut players].”
That Caldwell and Bradley have different worry levels is natural — as the front office chief, Caldwell has to take a macro view; as the coach concerned about who will help him win the very next game, Bradley should take a micro view.
