Jaguars Insider: Rating the draft needs by position

Running back 5 (highest need)

As it stands: The Jaguars let Jordan Todman (Carolina) and Will Ta’ufo’ou (unsigned) walk and added Bernard Pierce via waivers from Baltimore. There will be no fullback on the roster.

Draft history: The last time the Jaguars used a premium pick on a running back, it worked out pretty well – Maurice Jones-Drew at No. 60 (second round) in 2006. Same for the last (and only time) they used a first-round pick – Fred Taylor at No. 9 in 1998.

Comment: How thrilling would it be for the Jaguars to take Todd Gurley at No.
