Jaguars injury recap: Right guard Brandon Linder glad he injured his toe and not his ankle

The last thing the Jaguars' suddenly sizzling offense needed was to lose perhaps its best offensive lineman.

Fortunately for the team, right guard Brandon Linder's foot injury doesn't appear to be too serious. The second-year veteran dislocated the toe next to his big toe on his left foot in Friday's 22-17 loss to Detroit.

"I think he could have come back and played," Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said. "We just chose not to."

Linder played 16 snaps, but the injury occurred well before his last play of the night.

"The second play of that first drive, it happened," Linder said.
